2. Charles Christian Thorpe aka Larsen
Upon immigrating to the U.S., Christian LARSEN (born 5 JAN 1834) began
naming his children with his same last name, rather than the Danish
patronomics way (LARSEN rather than CHRISTIANSEN).
After time in Sanpete it was determined there were too many LARSEN's and
certain families were asked to change their names.
Christian and his family chose the name THORPE.
